What is your Amanita mushroom lamp made of?

Your mushroom lamp is made from PLA (polylactide) – a bioplastic derived from corn starch. Unlike conventional petroleum-based plastics, PLA has a significantly smaller carbon footprint. Good for your home, better for our planet.

What's special about our process:

• Each Amanita mushroom lamp is 3D printed in our own factory in Heidelberg – not a mass-produced item, but genuine craftsmanship from Germany
• The mushroom shape is based on 3D scans of real fly agaric mushrooms from nature – making each lamp particularly true to life
• After printing, each piece is hand-sanded and quality-checked
• The LED unit and lampshade are connected with double-sided adhesive tape – simple and secure
• PLA is robust, durable, and easy to clean – simply wipe with a dry cloth

Note: PLA is suitable for indoor use at room temperature. Avoid direct contact with water and temperatures above 60 °C.

Assembly – It's that easy:

1. Insert the LED light module into the lamp stem
2. Attach the lampshade (mushroom cap) to the stem with the double-sided adhesive tape
3. Plug in the USB cable, activate the toggle switch – done!

The Amanita mushroom lamp comes with a round LED, which is connected via a USB cable (1.4 m long). The cable has a practical toggle switch that allows you to easily turn the light on and off. You can connect the lamp to any 5V USB power adapter – for example, your smartphone charger, a power bank, or a USB port on a laptop.

Do I need an extra light bulb?

No! The matching LED is included and already integrated into the light module. You don't need to buy anything extra – just assemble, connect, and enjoy the magical atmosphere. The LED is long-lasting and energy-efficient, so you will probably never need to replace it.

Is a power adapter included?

Yes! Our mushroom lamp uses an LED board that generates very little heat. There's no filament, no hot glass bulb, and no sharp edges. The USB cable with a toggle switch is child-friendly. The mushroom lamp is perfect as a night light for children's rooms.

The USB cable is 1.4 meters long and has a practical toggle switch directly on the cable – so you can conveniently turn the mushroom lamp on and off without having to unplug the USB connector. The cable fits any USB A port: power adapter, computer, power bank, or USB hub.

The current version of the mushroom lamp is dimmable. The toggle switch on the cable turns the light on and off and is dimmable.
