Sustainable Material – Handcrafted from PLA in Heidelberg

PLA (Polylactide) – Bioplastic from Corn Starch

Our Morel Table Lamp is made from PLA – a bioplastic derived from renewable corn starch. Compared to conventional plastic, PLA production causes significantly fewer CO₂ emissions. This way, you get a design object that looks good and is also good for our planet.

Handcrafted in our Manufactory

Each Morel mushroom lamp is individually produced by 3D printing in our own manufactory in Heidelberg. The design is based on 3D scans of real mushrooms found in nature – that's why each lamp looks so authentic. After printing, each piece is hand-finished and quality-checked.

Care Instructions:

Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth. PLA is splash-proof but not suitable for wet rooms or outdoor use. Do not heat above 60°C (e.g., do not place directly next to a fireplace). Please use a maximum of 40W equivalent (LED) to keep heat generation low.

Scope of Delivery & Assembly

Included in the package:

• 1× Morel Lampshade with integrated base (in your chosen size and color)
• 1× E27 socket with cable and toggle switch (approx. 3.4 m total length)

Not included:

• E27 LED bulb (we recommend warm white LED with max. 20W equivalent)

Assembly – Done in 2 minutes:

1. Insert the socket into the lampshade
2. Screw the bulb into the E27 socket
3. Plug in, flip the switch – done!

Which light bulb fits the Morchel table lamp?

The Morchel mushroom lamp has a standard E27 socket – this is the most common screw fitting in Germany. We recommend warm white LED bulbs with a max. 40W equivalent. Pro tip: With a smart LED (e.g., IKEA Trådfri or Philips Hue), you can conveniently control brightness and color temperature via app.

Is the Morchel mushroom lamp dimmable?

The lamp itself has a toggle switch (On/Off). For a dimming function, we recommend a smart LED bulb (e.g., IKEA Smart Home). This allows you to continuously adjust the brightness and even use color changes – perfect for cozy evenings.


How long is the cable?

The cable has a total length of approx. 3.4 m (1.4 m to the toggle switch and 2.0 m to the plug). This gives you maximum flexibility in placement – even if the power outlet is further away.

Yes! You have a 60-day return policy. If the Morchel mushroom lamp doesn't suit you after all, you can easily send it back to us. Your home should only be filled with things that make you happy.
